How to Use 1 Minute to Make Any Day Better
Benefiting from minute meditation.
How you start your day is very important.
What you do after you awake can set the pace of your entire day. And with the randomness that life throws out it’s easy to see how things outside of our control can affect our moods in the morning. Anything can influence our day before we even set foot out the door.
Meditating for 1 minute before you leave for the day can do wonders.
This is probably not the most groundbreaking brain hack ever discovered but from personal experience I can tell you it makes a world of difference.
When I meditate I’ve noticed I can organize my thoughts better, I’m less anxious during the day and I have less road rage when driving. (That last one is a real miracle)
I won’t list the numerous scientifically proven benefits of meditating. A simple google search can give you more information on it than I ever could.
But below is a brief synopsis of my meditation routine.
- First I find a comfortable seat in a place that’s quiet (usually the side of my bed)
- Adjust my posture
- Set my IPhone’s timer to 1 minute
